The Asian Consortium for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Microbial Resources (ACM), in collaboration with AnMicro network, Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), and Thailand Bioresource Research Center (TBRC), will host the first ACM BRC-Standardization Webinar Forum on 1 December 2020.

The forum in the live webinar will feature two special presentations on the major ISO standards related to biological resource centers;

• Standardization of Biobanking - Introduction or requirements in ISO 20387:2018 by Dr. Hirosaki Nakae, Director-General and R&D Director of Japan bio Measurement & Analysis Consortium (JMAC)
• Understanding of ISO 17025:2017 Technical Requirements by Prof. Dr. Zunita Zakaria, Director of Institute of Bioscience, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
